What is Tatreez?
Tatreez is a traditional Palestinian embroidery technique passed down through generations, rich with stories of heritage, identity, and resistance. Each stitch holds meaning, telling tales of family, culture, and resilience.

Meet your instructor:
Samar Dahleh is a Palestinian activist, creative, and lifelong learner. With a background in Political Science, Philosophy, and Criminology, Samar’s passion for tatreez is rooted in heritage and preservation. She’s learned from elders and influential tatreezers across the country, carrying their wisdom forward one stitch at a time.
